SCORAD — Atopic Dermatitis Severity
Standardized scoring system for atopic dermatitis severity combining extent, intensity, and subjective symptoms.
The SCORAD (Scoring Atopic Dermatitis) index quantifies severity of atopic dermatitis in children using assessment of extent, intensity, and subjective symptoms including pruritus and insomnia. This validated tool helps clinicians track disease severity, predict treatment response, and standardize severity assessment across time and between providers. Use this tool at baseline and during follow-up visits in all children with atopic dermatitis to assess disease severity and guide treatment intensification.
